About NOW

NOW started from a simple idea:

What if a map could show what the world looks like right now?

Or, more precisely:

What is it like there, right now?

I have always been fascinated by the possibility of seeing different parts of the world exactly as they are in this very moment.

It could be a crowded street in Tokyo, the Northern Lights over Scandinavia, a volcanic eruption in Iceland, or a storm approaching the US.

But it could also be something from everyday life.

• Is the beach I want to go to crowded today?
• How bad is the traffic on the way home?
• Is the restaurant I want to go to busy tonight?
• What does that place look like right now?

Some moments are beautiful. Others are important. Both deserve to be seen.
